Spring 2010 at École Greenview School!

Welcome to our home on the World Wide Web! I am hopeful as I write this that spring has finally sprung in Edmonton and with that a lot of planning begins for the upcoming school year. Plans are in place for our Kindergarten Open House on March 24 starting promptly at 6:30. This parent information session will highlight our two programs; French Immersion and English, and some detailed information about our school boundaries, which is new for Greenview. If you are interested in joining our Kindergarten family for the fall, you should plan on attending our Open House. If unavailable, please contact our school office for more information. We accept children into the French Immersion program at both Kindergarten and the Grade One level.

We are excited about our ever-growing technology capacity at Greenview. We have recently joined a number of district schools who have wireless connectivity and now our students will also have access to our district's portal at myepsb.ca. In addition, all our classrooms are now outfitted with SMART boards and we have our first portable wireless lab of netbooks. We are very excited about the future learning that these technology tools will allow us to do for our students. Preparing our students for success in the 21st Century is an exciting adventure - and we welcome all stakeholders on this incredible journey at École Greenview School!
