    Cabana Sucre

Students were able to enjoy a French tradition of “tire au sirop d’érable” - Maple taffy, in our version of Cabane à sucre.  Not only did the students get to prepare the "tire" but they also found out about its preparation and the history of this Québec treat!

Carnaval is all about s’amuser dehors – having fun outside in winter! The weather was beautiful for Carnaval this year.  Welcome to École Greenview School

Welcome to École Greenview School! I'm looking forward to an exciting and challenging year of learning for our students.

We are proud to offer a variety of programs and activities that encourage our students to explore their curiosities, strenghten their skills in math and reading and develop a love of learning that will last beyond their elementary years.

The Leaders of tomorrow are already here at Greenview! Each of our students has the capability to be a leader in our school and community. Our job is to help them reach that potential, but we cannot do it alone. We need the help of parents/guardians, school partners and, of course, each student.  Together, we will strive to help them achieve success not only as a leader, but as an educated Albertan.

The co-operative efforts of staff, parents and the community help provide a welcoming and meaningful learning environment that supports students to become:

  • Engaged Thinkers, and
  • Ethical Citizens, with an
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit

Registration 2016-17

Welcome to École Greenview School! We offer a full K-6 English Program with a morning English Kindergarten class. As well, we are a K-6 French Immersion Program school for southeast Edmonton (Millwoods). If you are interested in French Immersion Programming, please call the school to check on availability.

From February 2nd though April 15th, 2016, we accepted new registrations for families living in the immediate Greenview neighbourhood for Kindergarten to Grade 6. Please contact the school to check on the registration process and availability.  If you know of a youngster who will be of Kindergarten age (will be 4 years of age on or before March 1, 2016), we would invite them to register at Ècole Greenview School. If you know of a family new to our community, be sure to share with them what a great school we have and have them come in and check us out. We are a school with an optimal enrollment limit (as well as limited space!) thus we are limited to one class of English Kindergarten and 2 classes of French Immersion.

In partnership,

Les Hansen, Principal
