Principal’s Message

Bienvenue! Welcome to the 2025-26 school year at École Greenview School!

On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to all our families. We are thrilled to welcome both new and returning students to École Greenview School! In addition to our regular programming, we are proud to offer the French Immersion Program. Our school is an inviting and inclusive school community where diversity is celebrated and valued, and where relationships are nurtured. Emphasis is placed on creating an environment where students feel capable and connected and develop the skills required to be contributing members both in our school and in the broader community.

We are determined to ensure that each and every student has the right program, tools, and support to succeed. We believe that educating our students is a collective responsibility, shared by students and their families, school staff and the entire community. Through a collaborative approach in working together with you as partners, we will maximize the potential of all students.

Communication is key at École Greenview School and is a shared responsibility.  Updates and information will be communicated mainly through the use of SchoolZone. Students, parents and guardians are asked to check SchoolZone regularly. Also, feel free to drop by the school office and introduce yourself, share your feedback or concerns and ask any questions. Your questions, concerns, observations and feedback are welcomed and embraced so please connect with us by phone, email or in person at any time.

I look forward to an amazing year with our students, families and the entire school community!

Yours in partnership,

Nicole Schmidt

Full in Planned Classes

For the 2025 - 2026 school year, Ecole Greenview School is full in planned classes for Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the regular program and Grade 5 in the French Immersion program. We will no longer accept enrolment requests for Grade 5 in the French Immersion program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grades 1 to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.  If you are registering for Kindergarten or are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online
